Acupuncture
(First treatment)

For the first treatment, I will start by having an interview with you and making a traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis (such as taking your pulse and looking at your tongue).

The diagnosis process typically takes about 30 minutes.

Afterwards, I will be able to provide you with the best treatment based on the comprehensive diagnosis. Sometimes, massage, cupping, Gua Sha and moxa are used as well according to your specific situation and for achieving the best results.

You can choose different treatment durations between 90 and 60 minutes according to your needs, but remember that the recommended duration is a guarantee for the best treatment results.

Cupping

Cupping

Cupping, as a form of alternative therapy, is an ancient technique that involves placing glass, plastic, or silicone cups on the skin to create suction.

This increases circulation and blood flow in the area where the cups are placed. It will relieve muscle tension, release toxins, boost immune function, and improve overall well-being.

Many people consider cupping as a relaxing and non-invasive deep-tissue massage.

Today, cupping is extensively used for sore muscles and has been very popular among athletes.

Gua Sha

Gua Sha is a natural, alternative therapy that involves scraping the skin with a massage tool after some oil is applied. This ancient Chinese healing technique increases circulation and blood flow, releases muscle tension and relieves chronic pain.

There will be mild strokes at first, and the intensity will increase gradually. But don't worry, the pressure will only remain at the level you are comfortable with. Gua Sha can be quite pleasant and relaxing depending on your situation. Some have called it the best massage of their life.

Moxa

Moxa is a form of heat therapy in which warming dried herbs is applied directly or indirectly to acupuncture points. The heat from the herbs penetrates the skin improving circulation and invigorating blood. This therapy is used to warm the body and expel coldness and dampness in the body.

The herb has specific properties to aid in relieving respiratory difficulty, alleviating aches and pains in joints and muscles. It helps to bring the body into balance and ensure a consistent flow of qi and blood.

Moxa is especially effective in the treatment of chronic problems and deficient conditions.

Depending on the individual's needs, moxa treatment is provided along with acupuncture in our clinic for better results.
